Snr. People Partner, Payroll and Operations
We are seeking for Snr. People Partner to support our Turkey Tea Division people and payroll operations in Istanbul, predominantly CD, Marketing, R&D, SC, Finance functions. This is a hands-on role with full-cycle support and core in taking an active role in 2021 TeaCo transformation process in People function, executing our people operations while ensuring robust compliance and controls. 
What you will be doing:
Payroll Governance

•  Be responsible for full payroll governance and perform all necessary operations related to employee payments such as allowances and salary
•  Act as liaison and control point between employees and third-party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific policies and local legislation
•  Prepare monthly payroll associated reporting and address payroll queries in a customer-centric manner in corporation with the payroll vendor
•  Ensure the integration of all new employees to the systems and manage effective employee records to government systems including benefits and payroll data feed for accurate and timely payroll processing and tax reporting
•  Update and implement the procedures and instructions for payroll processes 

People Solutions
•  Be the owner of full employee lifecycle management from onboarding to termination including processing and maintaining all documentation for new-hire and leaver payroll, benefits, legal agreements and HRIS; ensure timely legal notice processes on the government system in accordance with the country legislation.
•  Be a point of escalation for employee queries, providing advisory services on payroll and employee benefits matters to ensure employees are fully aware of their rights, and resolving in an autonomous and proactive manner
•  Ensure Workday is updated regularly and properly maintained to facilitate accurate reporting and integrity of all people data
•  Prepare & develop the localization of HR documentation, process and policies, in collaboration with global & local teams, provide advice and support on employee matters.
•  Take proactive steps to ensure all HR systems, local policies and procedures are updated regularly to take account of new and forthcoming employment legislation; identifies/raises needs to mitigate potential risks by collaborating with Legal; collaborates with global peers to share input and drive standardized approach for enhancing compliance.
•  Support employee monthly budgets and its forecasts together with the Head of HR, execute the employment cost budget simulations
•  Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly and year-end people factsheets/reports and organizational health diagnostics for the Business
•  Manage the relationships with internal and external stakeholders and act as the touch point to the Payroll related queries.
•  Analyse feedback from HR community and Service Providers to evaluate the effectiveness of the Payroll solutions and continuously improve solutions to ensure the desired impact is delivered.

Process Management & Improvement
•  Is responsible for gate keeping key external relationships with Payroll vendor.
•  Supports/facilitates the transition of impacted payroll deployments via use of in payroll vendor (e.g. provide expertise and governance to payroll vendor, etc.)
•  Provide necessary data and expertise for HR Head to challenge and negotiate costing/pricing provided by external providers to the benefit/betterment of Unilever Turkey Tea Company.
•  Design and develop training initiatives to meet individual and organizational needs
•  Support countries with advice and time when delivering local changes as a result of required projects.
•  Gather feedback on the organization and providing it feedback to the payroll vendor, assisting them in further improvements of the solution design
•  Design training programs for individual learning initiatives that facilitate employee development. Ensuring key talents get needed resources and information to effectively lead and organization towards strategic goals.
•  Strives for continuous improvement of payroll service delivery in accordance with defined standards and co-ordination with the Head of HR and respective actors.

•  Ensure that the human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organisation complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.

What you bring
4+ years of sound experience in the field of payroll transactions, total rewards or labor budget management in a global organization preferably with a trade union experience
Knowledge of payroll, Turkish labour law, law on trade union and collective bargaining agreements, social security, and tax systems.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, an expert with advanced excel skills. Knowledge in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Python will be an asset.
Experience in project management and facilitation of process improvement initiatives with focus on payroll and people operations
Willingness to participate in local/global people & culture projects and initiatives
